Do you need legal help?

It is important that elders know where and how to seek legal advice and assistance. Organizing living arrangements, elder law, estate planning, probate and preparing for unforeseen circumstances are important to address and commonly requires legal involvement.

Each year, crimes committed against elders are severely underestimated. More than half of the crimes committed against an elder go unreported to law enforcement. At least 5 percent of elders experience identity theft scams and/or violent crimes. More than half of staff at nursing homes and/or assisting living facilities nationwide are abusive toward elders.
